Composition Element

The Composition Element represents compositions inserted within one another, akin to the "components" concept found in other design tools.

This element is created through a process known as "nested compositing", wherein one of the project's compositions is imported into another as a layer.

To insert a composition and create a Composition Element, follow these steps:

  1. Open the composition where you wish to insert another available composition.
  2. In the Resources panel, right-click on the desired composition and select "Import as layer".

Currently, Composition Elements cannot be resized within the consuming composition. To resize them, follow these steps:

  1. Open the nested composition.
  2. Adjust the dimensions.
  3. Re-import the composition.

Composition Elements prove highly beneficial for duplicating multiple instances of the same element or establishing looping sequences.
