SAML Single Sign-On (SSO)
SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) feature is only available for customers using the Enterprise Plan.
Setting Up SAML SSO
To activate and configure the SAML SSO login method for your organization, the Team Administrator must initiate the setup process by contacting the support. We will provide all the necessary technical details, metadata, and detailed instructions to integrate your Identity Provider (IdP) with Loopic.
User Access Workflow
New Users
When a new user successfully logs in for the very first time using your company's SAML SSO method, a new Loopic account will be automatically created and instantly assigned to an open team seat (provided one is available).
Switching to SSO
Users who currently log in using a traditional email and password can switch to SAML SSO. By logging in using the SAML SSO method, their existing password will be disabled and reset. The user will subsequently be restricted to logging in exclusively via your organization's SAML SSO.
Switching to Password
Should an existing SAML SSO user need to switch back to a standard password login, they must initiate a password reset. The user should navigate to the Loopic login screen and use the password recovery form. Setting a new password will automatically disable the SAML SSO login method for that specific user, allowing them to log in using their email and new password.
